Wyoming Whitetail and Mule Deer
The number of deer in Wyoming is almost equal to the number of people. There are two kinds of deer in Wyoming, the white tailed deer and the mule deer.

The white-tailed deer is not found everywhere, but a good place to find them is in the Black Hills. Mule deer are a bigger animal and can be found all over the state.  The grown males develop antlers in the summertime.  Mating season comes late in the fall.  Baby deer arrive in May and June.  More information is available at Deer Farmer.
